Welcome to this e-course about a germ free environment!

The objective of this course is to learn how to create and maintain a germ free environment and all important aspects associated with this topic.

In chapter one you will learn the importance of a clean environment and why this also plays a major role in the human sector. You will learn the difference between cleaning and disinfection. Chapter two teaches you what germs are, what consequences they can have for animals, how germs spread and how this can be prevented.
Chapter three is about cleaning and chapter four is about disinfection. Finally, chapter five will teach you how to set up a protocol and how to interpret the result of a measurement.

To know your current knowledge level on cleaning and disinfection, this course starts with a knowledge check. Make sure you make this test individually and when you really have some time to be fully focused.

The test contains 20 questions and has a time limit of 20 minutes. Starting = finishing!
Our goal is a final score of at least 80%. If you are one of the lucky ones to achieve this in one go, that is of course great. But in practice you will have to do the e-learning 2 to 3 times to achieve this. So take the time for the course and take it seriously.

If you experience difficulties with the English language you can download a plug-in/extension. This allows you to have the text translated into your own language.
